Through a sermon one would expect that the Holy Spirit is speaking through the minister. In writing a sermon one should draw on what others have said, what the Bible says, and what the Spirit is moving one to say. But to just read someone else’s message verbatim seems to remove the action of the Spirit. Maybe not be fired but at least called on the carpet.
