On the Real Presence

The Eucharist is the multifacted jewel of the life of worship of Christians in the Catholic Church. The Real Presence means that Christ is truly and substantially present within the Eucharistic species under the appearances of the bread and the wine. This means that Christ is as present today in the Eucharist as He was 2000 years ago when He walked this earth.
